Myfyriwr Coedwigaeth yn cipio gwobr Cymdeithas Coedwigaeth Frenhinol

Rydym yn falch iawn o gyhoeddi bod Nick Roberts, myfyriwr L3 ar gwrs Coedwigaeth a Rheolaeth Cefn Gwlad yng Ngholeg Glynllifon wedi ennill tarian y Gymdeithas Coedwigaeth Frenhinol.

Cyflwynwyd y darian i Nick mewn seremoni arbennig ar Stad Leighton yn y Trallwng.

Ers 140 o flynyddoedd, mae'r Gymdeithas wedi ymroi i rannu gwybodaeth am gelfyddyd a gwyddor rheoli coetir fel bod doethineb a phrofiad cronedig tirfeddianwyr, coedwigwyr, coedwyr ac eraill yn cael eu trosglwyddo o un genhedlaeth i'r llall.

Dywedodd Jeff Roland Jones, Pennaeth adran Coedwigaeth yng Nglynllifon.

“Rydym yn hynod o falch o lwyddiant Nick. Mae hon yn wobr arbennig iawn i’w hennill, ac yn destament o waith caled ac ymroddiad Nick i’w astudiaethau.”

Ychwanegodd

“Mae’r sector Coedwigaeth a Rheolaeth Cefn Gwlad yn un sydd yn tyfu’n flynyddol yng Nghymru gyda digon o gyfleoedd am gyflogaeth. Da iawn ti Nick, mae’r Coleg yn hynod o falch am dy lwyddiant.”

Nick was presented with the shield at a special ceremony on the Leighton Estate in Welshpool.

For 140 years, the Society has been committed to sharing knowledge of the art and science of woodland management so that the accumulated wisdom and experience of landowners, foresters, arborists and others is passed on from one generation to the next.

Jeff Roland Jones, Head of Forestry at Glynllifon said.

“We are extremely proud of Nick's success. This is a very special award to be won, and a testament to Nick's hard work and dedication to his studies. ”

He added

“The Forestry and Countryside Management sector is one that is growing annually in Wales with plenty of employment opportunities. Well done Nick, the College is extremely proud of your success. ”
