Efrog Newydd... Paris... Llundian... Llandrillo-yn-Rhos!

Dychwelodd cyn-fyryriwr Trin Gwallt Coleg Llandrillo i'w gyn-goleg yn ddiweddar, dim ond ychydig fisoedd yn unig wedi i'w greadigaethau ffasiynol ar gyfer amrywiol frandiau byd-eang gael eu gweld ar lwyfannau wythnosau ffasiwn Efrog Newydd, Paris a Llundain!

Roedd Ashley Graham o Fae Colwyn yn steilydd gwadd mewn digwyddiad a drefnwyd gan gwmni cosmetig mwyaf y byd, a gynhaliwyd ar gampws y coleg yn Llandrillo-yn-Rhos.

Roedd y L'Oréal Watch Party - un o bum digwyddiad a gynhaliwyd ledled y DU - yn gyfle i fyfyrwyr Trin Gwallt o dri choleg Grŵp Llandrillo Menai - Coleg Llandrillo, Coleg Menai a Choleg Meirion-Dwyfor - gymryd rhan mewn tiwtorialau ac arddangosiadau amrywiol, yn ogystal â derbyn bag o roddion am ddim! Roedd y digwyddiad hefyd yn cynnwys dangosiad o Rownd Derfynol Fawreddog L'Oréal Colour Trophy eleni a gynhaliwyd yn Llundain.

Roedd cyn-ddisgybl Ysgol Bryn Elian - a symudodd i Fanceinion i weithio mewn salon trin gwallt yn syth ar ôl gorffen ei astudiaethau yn y Coleg yn 2008 - yn gyffrous i ddychwelyd i'r man lle dechreuodd ei siwrnai. Dywedodd: “Rwyf wrth fy modd i fod yn ôl yng Ngholeg Llandrillo. Roeddwn i uchelgeisiol dros ben hyd yn oed bryd hynny, ac roedd y staff mor galonogol, gan gynnig lefel aruthrol o gefnogaeth i mi.”

Nod y sioe deithiol fach oedd hefyd i annog dysgwyr i gymryd rhan yng nghategori newydd cystadleuaeth L'Oréal Colour Trophy ar gyfer myfyrwyr sydd wedi’i greu fel rhan o’r arddangosfa flynyddol sy’n un o gystadlaethau mwyaf disglair y diwydiant ers dros chwe degawd.

I gael rhagor o wybodaeth am gyrsiau Trin Gwallt yng Ngholeg Llandrillo, cysylltwch â thîm y Gwasanaethau i Ddysgwyr ar 01492 542 338.

Ashley Graham from Colwyn Bay was guest stylist at an event staged by the world’s largest cosmetics company, held at the college’s Rhos-on-Sea campus.

The L'Oréal Watch Party – one of only five held across the UK – provided Hairdressing students from across Grŵp Llandrillo Menai’s three colleges - Coleg Llandrillo, Coleg Menai and Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor – with a wide range of tutorials, and eagerly anticipated goody bags! The event also included a screening of this year’s glitzy L'Oréal Colour Trophy Grand Final which was held in London.

The ex-Ysgol Bryn Elian pupil - who moved to Manchester to work in a hairdressing salon straight after finishing his college studies in 2008 - was excited to return to the place where his journey began. He said: “I am absolutely delighted to be back at Coleg Llandrillo. I was so ambitious even then, and the staff were so encouraging, offering me a tremendous level of support.”

The mini roadshow also aimed to encourage learners to enter the L'Oréal Colour Trophy competition’s new student category that has been created as part of the annual showcase, which has been one of the most illustrious industry competitions for over six decades.
