All students are welcome to use the college sports facilities available at the Bangor and Rhos-on- Sea campuses, regardless of where they study. You may need to book in advance to use the facilities, and there may be a charge. At Dolgellau and Pwllheli, students can use the facilities at the Leisure Centre in town on Wednesday afternoons.

A range of sports are on offer at the different campuses, including athletics, badminton, basketball, football, hockey, netball, rugby and squash. Promising athletes may be selected to play in college teams and perhaps to complete at a national level.

Our sports academies combine sport with a choice of academic and vocational courses to suit different abilities and aptitudes. This means that you don't have to choose between getting qualifications and playing and training in a sport that you love – you can do both! Our academies also provide you with opportunities to be selected to play at regional and national level, so you can realise your full potential.
