Administrative Assistant Level 2 Apprenticeship

Daily duties
- Provide Reprographics service including copying, printing, binding and laminating
- Dealing with incoming and outgoing post
- Uploading information to SchoolsBuddy system
- Providing Reception cover including answering main telephone
- Assisting with purchasing including raising purchase orders and dealing with suppliers
- Maintaining first aid kits and booking training for first aiders
Desirable personal qualities of apprentice
Possess a positive and proactive outlook with good interpersonal skills to thrive in a busy environment. Strong team player who can multi task and juggle a heavy workload. A calm person who has the ability to think fast and find solutions. Good communication skills, both spoken and written.
Successful applicant needs to be capable of working on their own initiative but confident in asking for guidance where necessary. Flexibility is a definite requirement as no two days are the same and tasks do land at very short notice. Therefore, an ability to manage own workload is essential, and being able to identify priorities.
Qualifications required
English Language GCSE (grade C or above)
Maths GCSE (grade C or above)
