This role is an apprenticeship and commitment to the accountancy course would be expected.
Essential for this role – excellent communication skills, good IT skills in excel/data input, accuracy & attention to detail.
We are looking for someone who has:-

Daily duties
To support the Group Finance Manager with finance related administrative tasks as well as providing finance application support to our wider sales team.
- Prepare customer invoices including, processing of receipts, raising refunds and chasing debts in accordance with standard procedures to ensure effective cash and credit control.
- Processing of supplier invoices, weekly payments and expenses by BACS in accordance with defined procedures and timescales.
- Liaise with Finance Companies to ensure prompt payment of debt.
- Assist Order Input and Customer Support Teams in relation to queries, raising invoices and credit notes where applicable.
- Be the main sales point of contact for our Equine Division, including sending out orders on a daily basis.
- Complete electronic finance applications over the phone, direct with the customer.
- Send out company post on a daily basis.
- Assist Accounts Administrators within the department as and when required and cover holidays to ensure a smooth running of the department.
- Support the department with ad hoc duties, filing and admin duties.
- Ensure Company and department ISO procedures are followed.
- Ensure your activities meet with and integrate with organisational requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies and general duty of care.
