This Level 2 course provides you with an exciting curriculum, designed to enhance your practical skills equipping you to work in the vibrant hospitality industry.
You will experience a wide range of creative activities that will include
Culinary techniques in kitchen, larder and pastry.
Table theatre and service
Bar, wine and cocktail service
Food costing and menu planning
Health and Safety
Throughout the course, each student's development is nurtured and encouraged in a supportive environment. You will be tutored by professional practitioners, who will guide and support you as you develop your skills.
As part of your training you will also be required to develop your literacy and numeracy skills.
You will be expected to purchase uniforms and basic kit. Help towards this cost may be available through grants.
Please note: We recommend that you have access to a laptop/Chromebook to enable coursework to be completed digitally at home. There is a dedicated IT Digital Inclusion fund to support those learners who do not have a digital device and are unable to purchase one.
