Course Description
The qualification provides opportunities for learners to engage with real experiences that promote curiosity and learning through a range of both practical and theory-based units.
Learners will take part in lots of different exciting activities, participating in practical outdoor days, developing practical skills, as well as understanding personal safety and the sustainable use of natural resources.
Participants will gain an understanding in health-related topics such as nutrition, as well as developing leadership in team working units through planning and leading activities. There will also be an opportunity to complete the Duke of Edinburgh award.
Entry Criteria
4 GCSEs at grade D or above. These must include English or Welsh 1st Language and Maths / Numeracy
OR If you are progressing from Level 1 you should have a relevant level 1 qualification, preferably at a merit profile
