Diversity Champions:
During your time in college, you will have the opportunity to volunteer as a Diversity Champion.
The aim of the role is to champion opportunities for students to follow less gender-stereotyped routes (for example, to get more females into construction and engineering, and more males into health & social care, and hair & beauty). It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet other students and to develop your skills for your CV!

At Grŵp Llandrillo Menai, we prioritise Fairness, Respect, Equality, Diversity, Inclusion, and Engagement (FREDIE) as fundamental principles within all areas of the Grŵp. We are unwavering in our commitment to cultivating a workplace where every individual feels valued and empowered.
- Fairness underpins our operations, ensuring impartial treatment at all levels.
- Respect guides our interactions, fostering a culture of empathy.
- Equality is not just a goal but a minimum standard, promoting equal opportunities regardless of background.
- Diversity is celebrated, recognising the strength in our differences and how it can drive us forward.
- Inclusion thrives through open dialogue and accessible pathways for all voices.
- Engagement is vital, as we actively involve employees in decision-making, creating a sense of belonging.
Through continuous education, awareness, and dedicated initiatives, we champion FREDIE to create a harmonious and thriving workplace for everyone.
