Students Tool Up

Nearly 150 of Coleg Llandrillo’s Bricklaying, Plumbing, Electrical, Joinery and Plastering students - from first year to degree students - were given the chance to brush-up on their skills recently, when a representative from one of Europe’s leading tool manufacturers gave a series of presentations at the college’s Rhos-on-Sea campus. The learners even built the Stabila logo into a wall to coincide with the visit.

Stabila’s UK sales director Oliver Partington was on-hand to inform all attendees about the exciting new initiatives that are being developed within the construction industry. Members of college staff also got the chance of refreshers, as new products and techniques are being developed at a startling rate. Stabila is a world-renowned and distinguished manufacturer of branded measuring tools of the highest quality.

Coleg Llandrillo Construction tutor Jeff Price said: “Can I extend my thanks once again to Oliver on such an interesting and informative visit to Coleg Llandrillo here in Rhos on Sea. Support from a commercial partner keeps students in touch with the outside world and demonstrates a real commitment to the future of the construction industry from a leading brand.”

Oliver Partington said: “I would like to thank all at Coleg Llandrillo for their warm welcome. It was a fantastic day and the students are a credit to all of you. I really enjoyed it and we look forward to supporting the college more in the future.”
