Bangor Applied Science students celebrate the completion of their Biomedical Extended Diploma!

Last week, the Level 3 Applied Science students received a number of awards, took part in quizzes and were able to chat with tutors.


The students - Alex, Bethan, Kristina and Seren, also gave a presentation to first year students. They shared their experiences of the course and future plans, which included going onto University to study degrees in Forensic Science, Nursing and Marine Biology.

Susan Parry, Programme Leader for Biomedical Science at Coleg Menai, said, “We are extremely proud of the students, and it was great being able to celebrate their fantastic achievements together last week. Many of the students are going on to study at University next year - we wish them all the best!”

The Level 3 BTEC Applied Science course (Biomedical) is a 2 year course and is equivalent to 3 A-Levels. Applications are now being accepted for this course and further information can be found here.
