This is an exciting opportunity to learn the skilled role of a CNC Setter Operator, with potential for further career progression to the role of a CNC Programmer.
You will learn to, and be responsible for setting and running quality parts on CNC machines. You will need to be able to multitask across a number of machines and be proactive to ensure components meet specifications and are in accordance to engineering drawings.. Your attention to detail and ability to follow instructions will contribute significantly to our operational success.
The Company
International Safety Components (ISC) is a leading global provider of height safety equipment. We design and manufacture equipment for a variety of industries including Arborist, Rope Access, Rope Rescue, and Adventure Parks.
Criteria
We're looking for candidates who can demonstrate a good working attitude, who are flexible and able to work as part of a team, and support the business.
Experience with CNC machining centres and CNC lathes an advantage.
As a Trainee CNC Setter/Operator, you would be based at our production facility in Llandygai Industrial Estate, Bangor. You will receive on-site training
Working Hours & Location
Based at our production facility in Llandygai Industrial Estate, Bangor
Full time contract working 39 hours per week, over 4.5 days Monday to Friday (half day on Friday).
This role is initially joining our day shift, working hours are Monday – Thursday 7.30 - 16.30 and Friday 07.30 – 12.30.
