Course Description

This qualification provides learners with the opportunity to develop their knowledge around supporting individuals with challenging behaviour. It is aimed at those who support or work with individuals with challenging behaviour as part of their job role. It is beneficial that learners have experience of working with, or supporting individuals with challenging behaviour. The course is also suitable for those whose job role is not exclusively focused around supporting individuals with challenging behaviour, but who come into contact with people as part of their job, for example: health, care, education, housing, leisure, employment, libraries, probation.

Entry Criteria

Good literacy skills.

Delivery

Delivered through a combination of presentations, lectures, group and paired work.

Assessment

Assessment through a variety of coursework and portfolio building.

  • NCFE CACHE Level 2 Award In Supporting Individuals with Learning Disabilities
  • Agored Level 1 Introduction to Supporting Learning Disabilities and Difficulties
