Course Description

This is a free course for anyone who has completed an Introduction to being a Teaching Assistant course or is thinking about enrolling on one.

You will be taught a range of relevant topics which will help you as a Teaching Assistant in both Secondary and Primary Schools.

The course is divided into several units from the awarding body, Agored Cymru:

  • The importance of play in a Child’s Development
  • Introduction to Supporting Teaching and Learning
  • Resilience skills
  • Anti-bullying Awareness
  • Understanding Dyslexia
  • Understanding Autism
