Every year, our students achieve outstanding academic results, including a 98.9% pass rate in 2020, and gain places at universities throughout the UK. You may also be able to combine AS/A Levels with vocational Level 3 subjects (BTECs).
You’ll be well looked after during your time at college. Your Personal Tutor will help you settle into college life and will plan and review your progress to ensure you reach your goals. Our dedicated Learner Services staff can also provide advice and guidance about a range of issues, including: additional study support, financial matters, careers advice and confidential counselling services. Our colleges are also involved in the Welsh Government's Seren Network initiative, which is designed to support high achievers to reach their full academic potential and gain access to leading universities.

A Levels provide you with valuable UCAS points which enable you to apply for a range of degree courses at many institutions, including top universities across the UK. Previous students have gone on to study at Oxford and Cambridge and other prestigious Russell Group universities.

Vincent Proud from Pensarn gained a place at Cambridge University to study Physical Natural Sciences after gaining A*s in Maths, Further Maths and Physics and an A grade in Chemistry.
