“We received 32 strong nominations for our ‘Welsh for Staff Awards’ this year and the panel had a challenge choosing the winners - but the 12 individuals who won an award were thoroughly deserving. As the college with the largest bilingual provision in Wales, we fully realise the part we have to pay in supporting the Government's ambition of reaching a million Welsh speakers by 2050”.

She added,

“Our variety of Welsh learning courses for staff - including the Cymraeg Gwaith scheme and an intensive Welsh learning scheme, are a vital element of this work and we will only achieve this ambition by supporting adults to learn and use the language. Congratulations to everyone."
