Delivery will be a hybrid model with online access to videos, workbook and underpinning knowledge to enable you to pass the course. You will need to practise and submit your videos for assessment. Final assessment will be in the college commercial salon. 1 day for 11 weeks or 3hrs evening for 24 weeks - 80 guided learning hours

Course Description
This unit is about providing services to enhance, maintain, repair and remove nails using UV gel, on the hands and feet. It covers consulting with the client to establish their requirements and recognising any contra-indications that may affect the service. It also covers preparing and applying nail enhancements to cosmetically improve or camouflage nails using sculpting techniques, tip application and coloured UV gels. The ability to tailor the service and aftercare advice to suit individual client needs is also required.

There are no formal prerequisite qualifications that you must have prior to undertaking this qualification.
