Course Description
This course is designed for qualified/experienced engineers who are intending to work on domestic unvented hot water storage systems.
COURSE OUTLINE

• Unvented hot water systems
• System design
• Safety requirements
• Installation and commissioning requirements
Assessment by a multiple choice question paper, practical assessment workbook and practical exercises follow the training elements of the course.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
Successful candidates will receive a certificate of competence in compliance with G3 of the Building Regulations and Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 (England and Wales).

Entry Criteria
Candidates need to have:
• An existing unvented hot water certificates.
• An appropriate S/NVQ Level 2 or 3 or BTEC equivalent.
• An appropriate industry registration scheme such as Gas Safe Registration or OFTEC.
• At least 2 years verifiable industry experience of installation of domestic heating and hot water systems currently un-certificated skills equivalent NVQ Level 2 or 3.
All delegates are required to bring their original certificates (CCN1/Unvented Hot Water) and four passport sized photographs with them on the first day, failure to provide these may lead to not being able to continue with the training on the day.
