Course Description

A course for Teaching assistants lasting 4 hours. We will cover:

  • Neurodiversity & it’s terminology
  • How you might recognise neurodivergent pupils of different ages (Primary/ High school)
  • Discuss strategies that may support pupils who may struggle within an educational setting
  • Resilience and its definition
  • How to develop resilience in pupils of both primary and secondary ages using effective strategies
  • Using the indoor and outdoor environment to promote resilience
