Course Description
A course for Teaching assistants lasting 4 hours. We will cover:
- Neurodiversity & it’s terminology
- How you might recognise neurodivergent pupils of different ages (Primary/ High school)
- Discuss strategies that may support pupils who may struggle within an educational setting
- Resilience and its definition
- How to develop resilience in pupils of both primary and secondary ages using effective strategies
- Using the indoor and outdoor environment to promote resilience
