The purpose of this course is to demonstrate practical examples of teaching bilingually in the classroom.

Entry Criteria

This course is aimed at tutors and lecturers in the further education and work-based learning sector who teach bilingual groups. It is suitable for Welsh and non-Welsh speakers.

Delivery

Course content:

  • Exploring a variety of practical methods and techniques to develop bilingualism in your subject area;
  • Identifying key terms and general sector specific vocabulary, and identify opportunities to produce new bilingual resources;
  • An opportunity to reflect and plan to develop bilingualism in the classroom.
