Course Description

The purpose of this three hour course is to demonstrate practical examples of teaching bilingually in the classroom.

Entry Criteria

The course is aimed at post-14 practitioners who teach bilingual groups. It is suitable for Welsh and non-Welsh speakers.


Course content:

  • Exploring a variety of practical methods and techniques to develop bilingualism in your subject area;
  • Identifying key terms and general sector specific vocabulary, and identify opportunities to produce new bilingual resources;
  • An opportunity to reflect and plan to develop bilingualism in the classroom.
