Course Description
A course for Teaching assistants lasting 4 hours. We will cover:
- Overview of trauma and its impact on attachment and child development
- Understanding how trauma can impact the ability to engage within classroom environments
- How to develop positive relationships with pupils of primary and secondary age to promote secure attachments
- Definition of emotional wellbeing and its effects on neurological development
- Supporting wellbeing within pupils of primary and secondary ages
