Sgiliau i Waith - Skills for Work. In partnership with Agoriad Cyf and Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. Based on the ‘Engage to Change’ - Agoriad Cyf Internship model. Interns start in September and complete Agored and college enrolment forms and follow induction and training schedules according to job roles that have been identified. The training incorporates the core skills, Employability (mainly), Health and Wellbeing, Independent Living Skills, The Community, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Literacy.
As part of the schedule, all interns will take part in a ‘Community Participation’ exercise half way through the programme where they will actively take part in a volunteering role in the local area. This could be in the form of gardening or painting or visiting local care homes to talk to the clients.
