Course Description
The Level 3 Diploma in Playwork (QCF) aims to provide candidates with the necessary skills, knowledge and competence required to work in a supervisory role within the Playwork sector. Therefore, on successful completion of this qualification candidates will have demonstrated the essential skills in employment.
Entry Criteria
Learners must be in employment in a child care setting (undertaking play activities)
The Level 3 is recommended for staff working in a more senior position with responsibilities over staff and activities compared to the Level 2.
You must be over 18 years of age.
Delivery
Observations, direct learning from the individual, professional discussions, and witness testimonies from the employer.
It is possible for an individual to complete this course through the medium of Welsh or English.
Work will be on one file an e portfolio.
Assessment
Written work, observations, discussions etc.
A minimum of 18 hours of observations are needed to do the level 3 qualification.
Progression
To do the CCPLD level 4 as long as in a management position
