Course Description

15 week course, Tuesday 6 - 8pm. starts 8th March - enquiries.abergele@gllm.ac.uk

This qualification provides learners with the opportunity to develop their knowledge around supporting individuals with learning disabilities. It is aimed at those who support or work with individuals with learning disabilities as part of their job role.

Suitable also for those whose job role is not exclusively focused around supporting individuals with learning disabilities, but who come into contact with people as part of their job, for example: health, care, education, housing, leisure, employment, libraries, probation.

Entry Criteria

Level 1 literacy skills.

Delivery

Delivered through a combination of presentations, lectures, group and paired work.

Assessment

Assessment through a variety of coursework and portfolio building.

Progression

NCFE CACHE Level 2 Award In Supporting Individuals with Learning Disabilities.
