Course Description
This qualification includes the following Mandatory unit: Principles of Health and Safety within the Workplace. The Qualification is designed for those currently working or those returning or starting work and wishing to gain a nationally recognized qualification in Health and Safety.
Entry Criteria
There are no entry requirements for this course.
Delivery
Delivered by a taught session /PowerPoint presentation / Workbooks/ Module Exercises/Group Work/ End of course Examination.
Assessment
It is assessed by a Multiple choice examination. The examination will take a maximum of 30 minutes to complete.
Successful completion of the examination will result in the Highfield Level 1 award in the Principles of Health and Safety Certificate.
Progression
Highfield Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace (RQA).
