Course Description

The knowledge gained on this course will ensure candidates know how to safely isolate electrical circuits for maintenance and repair. As such it will greatly increase the workplace safety and ensure that you comply with the Electricity at Work Regulations with an emphasis on low voltage systems.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course. It is intended to be taken by a range of people:

Existing electrician’s .Plumbers. Gas fitters Facilities manager. Handymen. Kitchen Fitters

Simply put it is ideal for anyone working with electrical installations looking to understand how to safely isolate a circuit

Module 2 – How Systems Work

This module is designed to give the learner the knowledge and understanding in relation to electrical controls, components, wiring diagrams and sequences of operation for wet central heating boilers, systems, combination boilers, gas cookers and ducted air heaters

Module 4 – Fault Finding, Control and Component Exchange

This module is designed to give the learner the knowledge and understanding in relation to safe working practice and logical methods associated with fault finding techniques. The appliance range consists of wet central heating system boilers, combination boilers and their controls and components
