Course Description
This course is for new entrants who have the aspiration to initially become domestic natural gas engineers.
Entry Criteria
Must be able to produce a portfolio of evidence of gas experience countersigned by a current Gas Safe Registered operative.
Delivery
Day release, 1 day a week over 6 months in conjunction with onsite experience (candidates to arrange for themselves).
Training is bilingual but theory assessment English only.
Assessment
Completion of portfolio evidence will be followed by ACS assessment (practical and theory).
Progression
Upon gaining ACS qualification, candidates can be Gas Safe Registered for CCN1 (pipework) + 1 appliance.
After 12 months on the register progression to further gas appliance training and assessment if additional qualifications required.
