Course Description
The Pearson Level 2 Diploma in Team Leading (Combined Qualification) is ideal for those individuals who already have some team leading responsibilities. This combined knowledge and competency based qualification will develop and demonstrate your competence as a Team Leader, Section Leader.
You will develop and demonstrate the skills and knowledge to develop the core competencies of the roles above, including team leadership styles, team dynamics, problem solving, providing support, managing the work of teams and communication techniques.
Entry Criteria
To complete the qualification the individual will need to already have team leading responsibilities.
Delivery
An individual learning plan will be drawn up with you and your manager and an assessor will contact you remotely in the workplace. You will build a portfolio of evidence to show how you met the National Standards in your day to day work, and that you are aware of relevant legislation.
Assessment
The competency and knowledge units will be assessed through workplace evidence including: questions and answers, case histories, professional discussion, presentations , product evidence and witness statements.
Progression
Completion of this course allows you to progress in education and in employment.
Progression to Diploma Management Level 3.
