Course Description

Our suite of digital literacy courses are aimed at those who want a gentle and informal approach to learning how to use technology. The sessions are delivered by friendly and approachable tutors, lessons are planned to meet the interests of those attending and can be enjoyed as part of career development of learning for pleasure.

  • You will learn the basics of using a computer or device, which will include basic typing and keyboard skills to create documents.
  • You will also learn about: staying safe online, your digital footprint, interacting with others online and using security features on devices.
  • You will learn how to manage your digital information from files and photos to web pages.
  • You will create/use an email account to communicate with others and to sign up to online services.
  • You are welcome to bring your own device
