Course Description

Have you ever wanted to make music using computers? This course is suitable for beginners as well as those who would like to develop their skills further. This course will teach the essential skills that are required via demonstrations and hands-on practical work.

Delivery

Delivered via tutor demonstrations and hands-on practical skills.

Assessment

The course is assessed through the successful completion of three tasks:

  • Setting up a computer for recording and mixing
  • Editing audio and MIDI (note information) using a computer
  • Creation of a piece of music.

Progression onto other part-time or full time music performance and production courses at Coleg Llandrillo.
