    You will study four modules to complete this qualification, which will run over 1 academic year (3 terms).

    The modules you will be taught are:

    Strategy and Planning: This module aims to equip students with advanced knowledge and skills in planning marketing at a strategic level, as well as developing an overall strategic marketing plan. You will be able to adapt your use of planning frameworks and associated models to create a range of specific plans that integrate to deliver and support that plan at a strategic level.

    Societal Impact: This module aims to equip the marketer to explore key concepts of sustainability as a whole (delivering well-being for all) and gain a better understanding of the level of change that the organisation needs to achieve and how marketing needs to align to facilitate and support that change over the long term.

    Customer Journey Optimisation: This course provides a strategic framework to understand how to evaluate the stages in the customer journey and identify a data-led approach to achieve seamless, personalised journeys cultivating customer satisfaction, loyalty, and advocacy. The course will allow students to emerge equipped with a deeper comprehension of the customer journey and the methodologies necessary to cultivate meaningful connections with their audiences

    Content Strategy: Content marketing is fundamental for addressing important audience questions as well as building trust, developing relationships, and improving conversions. This Specialist Award provides a strategic approach to content marketing that aligns to wider corporate and marketing goals. You will gain skills to enable the creation an effective content strategy and manage its implementation, including the provision of appropriate copy for a variety of audiences.

    These modules are delivered weekly, usually on a Thursday morning for 8-10 weeks per module, and are assessed by an online multiple-choice exam, apart from the Strategy and Planning module, where a written marketing plan is also assessed alongside an online assessment.

    Three course starts are offered per year in September, January, and April.

This course will help you apply the knowledge, skills, and understanding required to become and excel as a Marketing Manager

It will also build knowledge and skills to prepare you for high-level opportunities, enhancing your career path.

You will gain confidence to demonstrate your ability to deliver in the workplace

Entry Criteria

One or more of the following is required to complete a Level 6 qualification:

  • CIM Level 4 qualification or relevant equivalent.
  • Level 4 Apprenticeship in Marketing
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree, with one-third of credits from marketing content.
  • Professional experience (suggested two years of marketing in an operational role).

Delivery

Delivered through online tutor-led classes, which you will access through Google Meet.

You will be encouraged to share ideas and participate in group work within the interactive sessions.

Assessment

This qualification is assessed through online multiple-choice exams (apart from the Strategy and Planning module as noted above). You can sit the exams at home or in your workplace.

The assessments are employer-driven, practitioner-based, relevant, and appropriate for business needs.

Progression

This course will help those with marketing experience to gain promotions to become marketing managers.

It will help you gain higher level career opportunities within organisations.
