Course Description
The UAL Level 1 Award and Diploma in Art, Design and Media is the perfect starting point for anyone with a passion for creativity who wants to explore different areas of the arts. This practical, project-based course introduces you to drawing, painting, photography, digital design, 3D and media, giving you the chance to experiment with a wide range of materials and techniques. You’ll develop confidence in your skills, learn how to express your ideas, and build a foundation portfolio of creative work. Alongside your practical projects, you’ll also improve essential skills such as teamwork and communication and problem-solving.
Entry Criteria
Successful interview and showcasing portfolio. The portfolio should include a minimum of 10 well presented pieces of work to include a mixture of drawings, paintings, photographs and prints demonstrating a willingness to experiment with new materials and techniques. Please bring your portfolio to your interview.
