Course Fees - Degree Courses
Information on course fees and additional course costs.
Full-time courses – September 2025 entry
Important notice:
Students should ensure they have secured funding to cover tuition fees before enrolling on a course and budget for any additional costs associated with their studies.
- No upfront fees: Most students will be eligible for tuition fee funding via Student Finance Wales.
- Indicative tuition fees: The current tuition fee for full-time undergraduate degree courses is £8,800 per year.
- Annual fee adjustments: If fees increase, they will not exceed the maximum level permitted in Wales (currently £9,250 per year, rising to £9,535 from September 2025).
- Bursaries are available: Students may be eligible for additional financial support.
Fees for continuing students (progressing from 2024/25 to 2025/26)
For students progressing to the next level of study in 2025/26 without a break:
- Level 4 to Level 5: £8,300
- Level 5 to Level 6: £8,300
Students should reapply for funding in line with guidance from Student Finance Wales.
Part-time courses
Part-time fees are typically charged on the credits studied within an academic year, and this can vary per course.
The majority of part-time credits are charged at £450 per 10 credits studied (2025/2026 rate).
There are some exceptions to part-time fees for certain courses. These include £400 per 10 credits for HNC and HND programmes, and £500 for per 10 credits for Prepare to Teach and PCET/PGCE programmes.
Additional Course Costs
Tuition fees do not cover all costs associated with studying. Examples of typical additional costs are not limited to:
- Travel and placement costs.
- DBS checks (where required).
- Course materials, specialist equipment, and software.
- Additional printing (beyond the £30 printing allowance the college provides to degree students).
- Graduation ceremony fees.
