Employer Green Skills Initiative

The project addresses the green skills gap, upskilling individuals and businesses in decarbonisation, energy efficiency, and digital technologies, driving progress toward national 2050 net zero goals.

The Employer Green Skills SPF Project will run from September to March 2026 and supports businesses and employees in Anglesey and Gwynedd.

This project allows Busnes@LlandrilloMenai to continue to provide fully funded, specialist ‘green’ and associated training, such as retrofit, renewables and air and ground source heating.

The training will support small and medium sized companies, enabling them to develop and grow their companies by expanding their services, with a view to becoming part of supply chains supporting carbon reduction in housing and construction.

In addition to green skills, the project will introduce bite-sized training modules to build a dynamic and resilient workforce focusing on leadership, wellbeing and sustainable marketing.

Training will be held at Canolfan CIST Llangefni, Tŷ Gwyrddfai, Penygroes, near Caernarfon and Llwyn Brain, Bangor, with limited online provision. Email contact for the project is: busnes@gllm.ac.uk
