Course Description

Build your confidence to use Welsh naturally and professionally at work. This practical, friendly course is designed for staff who have some Welsh already but want to use it more often with customers, colleagues and the public. Ideal for tourism, local authorities, heritage, leisure, hospitality and other customer-facing roles.

Across 10 engaging weekly sessions, you’ll learn how to greet customers bilingually, recognise language preference, use Welsh terms relevant to your job, ask for simple information, and close conversations politely. You’ll also improve your written Welsh through bilingual emails, messages and signage.

The course explores the real business benefits of Welsh, offers “quick wins” you can use immediately, and gives you personalised support to embed more Welsh in your daily work.

Learners complete a small portfolio and gain two Agored Cymru credits on successful completion.

Boost confidence. Improve customer service. Celebrate your Welsh.
