Course Description
Have you got experience in the production arts, and want to move to the next stage? This is a practical, professional level course that will allow you to develop your existing skill set, and most importantly will give you opportunities to apply and showcase these skills during the year. There will be extensive practical experience built in from the outset. At the end of the course you will have the skills, knowledge and understanding to confidently work in the production arts industry, or progress to HE.
Entry Criteria
- Relevant level 3 qualification or extensive practical experience in the creative area.
- Successful interview
Delivery
This is a practical course where professional skills within the production arts are developed and then applied. There are 3 elements to the course:
- Establishing principles of technical and production practice
- Applied professional practice
- Professional development project.

This is a one year fast-track into employment or for further progression into HE.
This qualification can be used as a starting point for students who have identified a specific career in the creative arts industry that they wish to progress to, such as:
