Course Description
This beginner-level course introduces the essential skills and techniques of basic hair styling. You will learn fundamental methods including sectioning, blow drying, curling and simple finishing techniques, while developing confidence in tool use and hair preparation.
Ideal for those starting their journey in hair styling or beauty services.
Entry Criteria
Applicants must be enthusiastic, committed and with artistic flair. You do not need any experience, as you may already have an interest in bridal hair.
Basic literacy needed.
Learners will need to provide their own long hair head block to practise with and some hairdressing tools.

Assessment
You will actively practice essential skills including hair preparation, sectioning, blow drying, curling, and basic finishing techniques. The course emphasizes correct tool handling, heat control, client safety, hygiene and adapting techniques to different hair types and lengths.
