Course Description
Would you like to learn a new skill or begin the journey to making your own clothes?
This course covers:
- Learn how to sew a button and hook and eye on correctly
- How to do different seam finishes
- Put in a zip
- How to measure precisely
- How to use a pattern
- How to layout fabric and cut
Entry Criteria
There are no entry requirements for this course although you will need your own sewing machine and sewing notions.
You will be given a list of what you need before the course starts.
Delivery
Lessons will be classroom-based and will use a range of teaching methods including modelled, shared and guided.
