Course Description
This course will give you the basics of DIY home skills which includes the following:
- Health & Safety Unit
- Plastering - Marking out, cutting & hanging plasterboard, mixing and applying plaster
- Plumbing - Marking out, completing plumbing rigs using different fittings, pipe bending, soldering & pressure testing for leaks
- Tiling - Setting out, mixing adhesive & grout, cutting & applying tiles, applying grout & polishing tiles to a high-quality finish
- Joinery - Marking out, cutting techniques, chiselling techniques, constructing different wood joints

Through application and interview or PLA eligible.
