Course Description
Candidates will gain confidence to select, install and maintain domestic air and ground source pump heating systems.
Entry Criteria
N/SVQ Level 2/3 Plumbing or Domestic or Industrial and Commercial Heating and Ventilating or equivalent earlier certification that provides evidence of competence or
N/SVQ Level 2/3 in Oil-Fired Technical Services or equivalent earlier certification that provides evidence of competence or
N/SVQ Level 2/3 in Gas Installation and Maintenance or equivalent earlier certification that provides evidence of competence or
In addition, if not included in the above, current certification in relation to:
Water Regulations/Water Byelaws.

Delivery
The course is delivered over 4 days, with day 4 available for assessment, using purpose-built indoor rigs, trained by qualified instructors using bespoke BPEC learning materials at Rhos-on-Sea and NICEIC in Llangefni
Assessment
The assessments are designed to ensure that all candidates are treated fairly and equally throughout the country. This approach ensures that both employers and customers can be confident that an operative assessed at a BPEC Certification Ltd/NICEIC approved assessment centre will be able to operate both safely and competently.
