Someone from Learner Services will get in touch with you soon.
The Google Form is available on eDrac Learner or you can visit Learner Services at your campus.
Learning Support
If you’re struggling with your studies, don’t worry, our Learning Support services are here to help you succeed. Whether it’s short-term or long-term support, we offer both one-on-one and group sessions. Our Learning Support Team can assist with specialist equipment, assessments for specific learning difficulties (e.g., dyslexia), and making exam arrangements.
Disability Facilities and Support
We believe in equal opportunities for all learners. Each campus offers tailored support for those with visual or hearing impairments, or those requiring mobility assistance. For more details, reach out to the Learning Support Team at your campus.
Literacy & Numeracy Support
Reading, writing, maths, and ICT are essential life skills. We offer support to help you improve your assignment writing, revision techniques, or to boost your GCSE grades in these areas.
Personal & Welfare Support
Personal Tutors:
Your tutor will help you settle into college life, providing support for any academic challenges and helping you track your progress to meet your goals.
Stay Safe:
If you feel unfairly treated or harassed, confidential advice and support are available through Learner Services.
Confidential Support and Counselling:
Qualified staff are here to support you during personal, emotional, or welfare challenges. If you need someone to talk to, visit Learner Services and ask to speak to a Student Advisor or Welfare Coordinator.
Care Experienced Support
If you have a history in care (e.g., Looked After Child/Care Leaver), we offer dedicated support to help you transition into college life. This includes:
- A personal contact to assist with transitions and provide a link between you, your teaching team, and any support agencies
- Financial support to help with essential kit costs
- Additional support to assist with graduation costs for care-experienced learners
You can identify as Care Experienced when applying or by contacting us at staysafe@gllm.ac.uk.
Learner Voice
As a student, you’ll have a voice in how the College is run. We value your feedback and make sure you know how to share your views with us. We listen and act on your input to improve your experience.
