Welsh opportunities at the College

Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol

Have you heard of the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol? The Coleg Cymraeg is an organization that wants to give you more opportunities to study in Welsh, if that is at the college, or even through an apprenticeship. The Coleg also provides Welsh language resources and offers Scholarships to Higher Education students. Ensuring that there are enough social opportunities for you to use the Welsh language is very important to us; that’s why the Ambassadors’ role and the voice of students is at the core of our work. Click here to find out more about the Coleg Cymraeg.

"My role as an Ambassador involves raising awareness among my fellow learners about all the advantages of studying and learning in both the Welsh language and bilingually. The advantage I gained from studying through the medium of Welsh and bilingually was the ability to further improve and develop my language and writing skills. This is extremely beneficial for the future, and for job opportunities, University, and the community. As an Ambassador, I had many Welsh-language opportunities at the College and got to know many different people through the medium of Welsh."
