By the end of the course the learner will have a basic understanding of:

the industry,
the dangers of working in the industry
the responsibilities of the Employer, Employee and Self-employed
Emergency procedures including First aid and Fire,
Health Risks and welfare.
Work at height,
P.P.E
Hazardous substances and environmental waste protection and control,
manual handling,
electrical safety,
hand tools and equipment
the effects that noise, vibration and site transport have on individuals and the environment
excavations, Inspections, transport safety

Good understanding of spoken and written English

Classroom presentations

Theoretical multiple-choice exam

This certificate is valid for 5 years.

After completing the CSCS health, safety and environment test, also available with us, you can then apply for the CITB green labourer’s card.

This card is the minimum you would need to work on any construction site in the UK.
