This 3-day course is designed for engineers working with heat pumps or planning to upskill. It helps you understand how heat pump systems work and how to confidently and safely diagnose and repair faults. The course is ideal for engineers who want to build on their existing installation knowledge and gain practical, job-ready diagnostic skills.

Entry Criteria

- Hold a recognised Heat Pump installation and maintenance certificate.
- Have knowledge, understanding, and experience of:

Delivery
The course is delivered over three full training days and includes focused, tutor-led training and assessment.
Assessment
To earn your certificate, you must complete all four units20. Assessment includes:
- An end-of-course theory test.
- Workbook tasks for each unit.
- A hands-on practical assessment.
Progression
Upon completion, you will receive an industry-recognised Certificate of Competence from NICEIC Certification. You will gain confidence in diagnosing and repairing heat pump system faults through practical training with real-life examples and expert instruction
