Part-Time Study...with Full-Time Benefits!

Do you want to develop new skills, achieve qualifications and improve your job prospects, or learn a new skill or hobby whilst making new friends along the way? Whatever your goals, we're sure to have a part-time course to suit you!

Grŵp Llandrillo Menai has just announced that it has limited places available on hundreds of its part-time community and evening courses this autumn, either online or at dozens of locations from Denbigh to Dolgellau… but hurry, as places are filling up fast!

Early indications show that the demand could well outstrip supply at its campuses and community education centres across North and Mid-Wales, as thousands are preparing for a new challenge after lockdown.

Grŵp Llandrillo Menai (GLLM) is an umbrella organisation overseeing the operation of three member colleges in North Wales: Coleg Llandrillo, Coleg Menai and Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor. It is Wales's largest further-education (FE) institution and one of the largest FE college groups in the UK.

Its adult, community and evening programmes include a wide range of leisure, professional and career enhancement courses, which have already transformed the lives of thousands of adults.

A few of the greatest advantages of part-time courses include studying at a rate that suits you and being able to combine learning with family or personal commitments. Studies also show that engaging in community courses can keep your mind and body active, greatly benefiting your mental health and well-being.

Feedback obtained from a recent student survey of learners across Grŵp Llandrillo Menai gave the college group a giant, virtual ‘thumbs-up’, with the vast majority of students stating that they appreciated the flexibility and support shown by their tutors throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, making their journeys stimulating, informative and inspiring. The statistics from the survey mirror the excellent feedback provided by the learners. When asked how they would rate the college overall, 98.2% of students rated it as “good” or “very good”.

Courses take place at all our campuses, as well as in numerous, informal, community-based venues such as libraries and community centres. Our friendly Learner Services teams are here to help you with any questions.
