Grŵp Llandrillo Menai students secure spots in the WorldSkills UK 2026 National Finals
Eighteen students and apprentices from Busnes@LlandrilloMenai, Coleg Llandrillo, Coleg Menai and Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor have qualified for the WorldSkills UK 2026 National Finals in November.
Students from Coleg Menai, Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor and Coleg Llandrillo, along with Busnes@Llandrillo Menai apprentices, will travel to venues across South Wales to compete in the national finals from 17-20 November, testing their skills against the very best the UK has to offer.

The WorldSkills UK finals will see 400 competitors battle it out in more than 40 different skills, in a nationwide celebration of world-class vocational and technical training.
WorldSkills UK Operations Director Mark Smallman said: “Our competitions recreate the pace, pressures and standards of the workplace, challenging competitors to solve problems, think critically and perform at their very best.
“It’s encouraging to see the diversity of learners taking part continue to increase, reflecting the growing reach of skills excellence across the UK. That’s why organisations are embracing skills competitions as part of their teaching practices, they see first-hand how the experience builds confidence, resilience and the skills people need to be truly work ready.”
