CIST Centre Llangefni Launch New Environmental Sustainability Training
Busnes@LlandrilloMenai’s CIST Centre has been approved as an Institute of Sustainability and Environmental Professionals (ISEP) training centre.
ISEP is the professional body for sustainability practitioners, setting recognised standards for those working to deliver practical environmental, social and economic outcomes.
Gareth Hughes, CIST Manager explained,
“We are pleased to confirm that CIST is now ISEP-approved. This allows us to broaden our specialist training offer to include nationally recognised sustainability and environmental management courses, designed to meet the needs of today’s workforce — from operational teams through to senior leaders.
“As Wales works towards net zero by 2050, organisations need the skills to understand their environmental responsibilities and put them into practice. Our new ISEP-accredited courses are focused on supporting that transition, with provision covering areas such as Pathways to Net Zero and Environmental Management.”
A number of the new ISEP courses are available fully funded through the Welsh Government’s Personal Learning Account. Employers and individuals can find out more about the funding at: https://www.gllm.ac.uk/personal-learning-account
