Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor is pleased to announce that students on its Hairdressing course at the Dolgellau campus recently took part in an online hairdressing competition.
The competition was organised by members of staff within the Hair and Beauty Department at Dolgellau, so that the students could showcase their talents.
Eifion Owen, Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor's Programme Area Manager for Business, IT, Hospitality, Hair and Beauty, Sports, Adult and Community Learning and Higher Education, said.
"Organising a competition like this online was quite difficult on a logistical level. Even so, giving our students the same opportunities as they would have had in any other year was foremost in our minds."
"The competition was open to all students - Levels 1, 2 and 3 - in three different categories: Prom, Bridal and Avant Garde."
"The level and commitments of the students, truly was something to behold, and I personally, and the college generally, are very, very proud of their achievements. The level, from all the students, was truly exceptional."
