We are happy to confirm, that all six of our students on the Vet Nursing Level 3 course passed their practical exams recently, which is even more impressive given the current difficult and unprecedented conditions.

The Glynllifon Campus is the only centre in North Wales to run the City and Guilds Level 3 course, which is approved by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. Under the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966, you cannot undertake all the duties of a fully qualified Veterinary Nurse without this qualification.

Laura Lacey, lecturer on the Vet Nursing course in Glynllifon, said.

"These are external exams which occurred during lockdown in Bury St Edmonds. It was challenging and additionally stressful for the learners to attend these exams as the location was over 6 hours drive away for some. This is a testament to their dedication and commitment."

The average objective structured clinical examinations (OSCEs) yield a 65% success rate however all 6 of our students passed at this sitting which is an excellent result.

We are currently accepting applications for this course for September, so please follow the link below.
