Teams of Business Administration students from Coleg Llandrillo recently organised an enterprise event, raising funds for two charities in the process.
The three groups organised a whole host of activities, including the sale of homemade candles and lavender bags, along with a raffle for a giant tub of sweets. They also set up an online FiFA competition, with all proceeds going to the charities Mind and Dorran's House.
One of the students said:
What a fantastic day. We received so much support from both staff and students. It was great fun getting a chance to sell goods to people, and to raise much-needed funds for two charities was the icing on the cake.
Ann Marie Tramaseur, curriculum coordinator for Business Administration at Coleg Llandrillo, said:
Congratulations to all the students involved; this was the culmination of weeks of hard work. They have all been brilliant: from the initial planning through thorough researching to engaging with customers on their stalls.
