Busnes@LlandrilloMenai is to mark 'Apprenticeship Week 2019' with the launch of its brand new Jobs Noticeboard, a totally FREE service which is aimed at helping local businesses recruit students and young people.
Employers from North Wales are being encouraged to post apprenticeships, full-time and part-time posts as well as fixed term contracts.
Not only will the Jobs Noticeboard provide an additional recruitment tool for local businesses, it's also hoped that this new initiative will make it possible for young people to gain much needed work experience - through having a regular weekend job during their time at college or by applying full-time positions at the end of the academic year.
Lesley Thomas, Managing Director of Work-based Learning, Busnes@LlandrilloMenai explains:
Busnes@ staff regularly meet companies that struggle to recruit new talent. With the support of Welsh Government we have developed an online Jobs Noticeboard aimed at putting local organisations directly in contact with young people.
The jobs that the companies advertise could be anything from apprenticeships or permanent positions to seasonal and weekend work.
As a large organisation our website attracts a high volume of online traffic, for example over 5,000 individuals visit our jobs pages each month. By hosting the Jobs Noticeboard on our website and offering it FREE to local business, we hope to support them in attracting local talented young people.
To ensure the success of the initiative Busnes@LlandrilloMenai is appealing for businesses to post their vacancies to ensure that there is a great range of opportunities for the applicants.
There are currently a number of vacancies advertised on the Jobs Noticeboard with more to follow. These include:
- Foundation Apprenticeship in Accountancy - Direct Line Communications Limited, Shotton
- Office Junior - Bone and Payne Solicitors, Llandudno
- Trainee Sub-Frame Assembler and Apprentice Fitter - Designer Decking Limited, Abergele
- Apprentice Trainee Ice Cream Maker - Parisellas, Conwy
- Care Assistant - Q Care Prestatyn, Rhyl
Advertising a job on the noticeboard is simple. Companies can contact 08445 460 460 or email email@example.com and a member of the Busnes@ team will be happy to help.
Companies should provide job description, closing dates and details of how to apply. For smaller employers that do not have a Human Resources department, Busnes@ will collect applicant information and pass them directly to the employer for consideration.
